We offer a full footwear advice, supply and orthotic prescription service, headed by Chartered Physiotherapist and Biomechanics Specialist Lorraine Carroll. Lorraine has undergone extensive post-graduate training in biomechanics and orthotic prescription. She advises the Irish College of General Practitioners on this topic through a series of lectures run annually.
By consultation we will carry out a complete assessment of your footwear requirements. This may be necessary to ensure comfort while walking, to assist in pain and injury management or to prevent injury due to biomechanical factors.
We stock a range of podiatric shoes, slippers and sandals by Strive Footwear, suitable for those who struggle to find comfortable shoes which look great as well.
For your needs we can also source a wide range of the highest quality shoes, devices and orthopaedic aids from our network of suppliers which we provide at very competitive prices.

A full lower limb and gait assessment together with an understanding of the clients practical needs will determine if and what style of orthoses is required. A thorough prescription process is available to establish the precise design specifications required. This may include the use of foot sketches, foam box impression sets, plaster casting or video analysis.
Custom made orthoses can be constructed in different lengths, widths, thicknesses and density, either to specially fit one shoe type or to be a more general fit for all shoe types. Orthoses are commonly used in everyday casual and work footwear, in sport shoes and can even come in slim fit design to fit narrower shoes often worn by women. If necessary, clients are offered 1 free adjustment or trimming of the orthoses within 3 months of order.
